Chúng tôi làm việc mỗi ngày để khắc phục thiệt hại từ ngành thuốc lá và khôi phục quyền giữ gìn sức khỏe và thể trạng tốt cho mọi cư dân California. Bởi vì tất cả chúng ta đều có quyền được sống trong những cộng đồng lành mạnh với không khí và nước sạch, không có cái chết, bệnh tật và chất thải độc hại từ ngành thuốc lá. Và trẻ em nên lớn lên mà không bị ngành thuốc lá đầu độc tuổi thơ của họ.

Khói thuốc lá và hơi thuốc từ thuốc lá điện tử có chứa hóa chất gây ung thư và nguy hại đến khả năng sinh sản. Phơi nhiễm khói thuốc có thể xảy ra tại công sở, nhà hoặc thậm chí ngoài trời – điều này khiến mọi người có nguy cơ bị ung thư phổi và các vấn đề sức khỏe nghiêm trọng khác.

Việc chấm dứt bán thuốc lá bạc hà ngăn chặn chiến lược tiêu diệt cộng đồng người Da đen của ngành thuốc lá— cải thiện công bằng sức khỏe cho tất cả mọi người.20 Luật cấm bán thuốc lá có hương vị của California tập trung vào các nhà bán lẻ thuốc lá – chứ không phải những người nghiện bị ngành này lôi kéo.
